How Does Preo Work?

Sellers add products to the Preo platform which are assessed weekly by our specialists. Our shopping platform is then curated by our team to only display top-grade products.

In order to provide the best service for our members, Preo offers three shopping features:


E-commerce shopping

All items are offered at a set price under this feature.

Digital Auctions

This feature will be implemented in the near future, which allows sellers to hold an auction for a duration of x days.The auction begins once a buyer places a bid that matches the seller’s minimum asking price.

Make an Offer

This feature will also be implement in the near future. Under this feature, our members can offer an alternative price if both parties agree.

We also have a “REQUEST MORE INFO” option available under each seller’s product for buyers to raise any further inquiries they may have.

  1. What does Preo offer for sale?

    Preo offers a range of products which include but are not limited to watches, collector’s items, books, specialized gadgets, fashion, furniture, home accessories, and automotive parts.

  2. Are there any restrictions on becoming a buyer and/or seller on Preo?

    Preo has a strict application approval process to ensure that all buyers and sellers are reliable, and that all items being sold meet our set quality standards. Certain Categories such as Watches, Jewelry & Bags require a professional Vender in order to maintain Certifications of the items as well as keep a certain level of quality control.

  3. Are all products accepted for sale by Preo?

    No, not all products are accepted for sale. Preo’s marketplace is curated by our specialists to only display items that comply with our shopping categories and quality assurance standards.

  4. Does Preo offer buyer and seller protection?

    Yes, we do offer buyer and seller protection which is included in our legal clauses which all applicants must agree upon in order to join Preo. These clauses state that:

    • If a buyer receives a product that does not match the photo shared by a seller or never received his/her item, our customer service team should be notified within 1-3 business days from the delivery date. The team will then create a return and issue a full refund from the seller to the buyer
    • If a product is returned to a seller after being used and/or damaged by the buyer, it should be escalated to our customer representatives within 3 days from the delivery date. Once it is confirmed that the item has been compromised, we will issue a partial refund back to the seller. If the item is compormised, there is also a chance that a return is not possible
    • **If an item is purchased offsite, it will no longer be qualified for our buyer and seller protection.**

  5. Can businesses become Preo members?

    Yes, Preo is opened to all individuals and retail businesses that meet our requirements. In order to join Preo, all parties will be required to submit an application which will be taken through our approval process.

  6. Are sellers required to display their name to all potential buyers?

    No, sellers will not be required to display their name to all buyers. Preo offers a privacy option in which the seller can remain anonymous to all potential buyers until the final buyer purchases the item.

  7. What percentage do you charge on products being sold?

    Once the buyer has chosen to purchase an item, an 8% service charge is applied to the total amount upon checkout. After a product is delivered and its return deadline has passed, the funds will then be transferred from PREO to the seller after deducting an 8% service charge.

  8. How can I add a product for sale?

    All you have to do is list your new or used item with a detailed description, upload clear high-quality photos in various angles, and then choose to sell it at a set price and/or hold an auction. If you are open to the buyer making an offer, you will also need to choose that option.Our specialists will then assess your merchandise to ensure it meets our restrictions. If it is approved, then it will be displayed in our marketplace. We recommend that you include main details in your item’s description such as its name, brand, size and colour. Adding any proof of sales such as receipts, invoices or certificates will make your product much more appealing to our customers. The more information you provide, the more encouraged buyers will be to purchase your items.

  9. Who handles the shipping of the items?

    Preo will be handling the delivery of all items, which will take 1-5 business days.

  10. What is Preo’s return and exchange policy?

    Buyers can return and/or exchange an item if all the following requirements are met:

    • The item is returned by 1-3 days from delivery
    • The item does not match the description and/or photo provided by the seller
    • The item has been compromised and/or damaged in any way
    If the item is not compromised and the buyer has changed their mind, they will then need the seller’s approval to return their item.

  11. How can I make a return and/or exchange a product?

    You can make a return and/or exchange by clicking on your purchase history and then selecting the specified item you would like to return or exchange. Once selected, all you have to do is follow the instructions provided.

  12. When should a seller or buyer be reported?

    A seller or buyer should be reported if they violate any of the following: • They offer to sell you an item off the Preo platform. • They do not complete their end of the sale. • They use abusive language or any type of profanity with you. • They have given you false contact information. • The seller or buyer are under the required age to be a member. • Item does not match the photo and/or description provided by the seller. • Item has been compromised, damaged or broken. • Item was never delivered.

  13. How can I raise an inquiry to a seller that I have already made a purchase from?

    You can raise your inquiry by selecting your “PURCHASE HISTORY” and then selecting “REQUEST MORE INFO” next to the item you bought from them.

  14. When should a seller or buyer be reported?

    A seller or buyer should be reported if they violate any of the following:

    • They offer to sell you an item off the Preo platform.
    • They do not complete their end of the sale.
    • They use abusive language or any type of profanity with you.
    • They have given you false contact information.
    • The seller or buyer are under the required age to be a member.
    • Item does not match the photo and/or description provided by the seller
    • Item has been compromised, damaged or broken.
    • Item was never delivered.

  15. Is there a legal violation against completing my purchase offsite?

    Upon signing up to Preo, there is a binding agreement made between Preo and our member, which includes that no purchases will be made offsite. Protecting our members is our main priority and if our members choose to complete purchases offsite, this can highly risk fraud cases due to not being covered by our buyer and seller protection. If a seller or buyer asks you to complete a purchase offsite, please contact our customer service and let them know.

  16. Is there international shipping available?

    Preo is currently a local application, but we are working on expanding internationally in the near future.
